VILATHUR VIZHA TO BE HELD ON 24,25and 26Th JANUARY 2011
Objective: To bring the villagers together and carry out basic infrastructure in the village for the visiting villagers from the
City and to create an opportunity for the younger generation to understand the importance of Motherland and KULATHEIVAM.
The kumbabishegham for the Lakshminarayana Perumal after renovation along with Anjeneyar will be the main agenda.
EXPENSES: Approx expenditure for the function incl kumbabishegham is around Rs.10 Lakhs and those who want to contribute the amount are requested to take the receipt.The account will be submitted at the end of the meet on Jan 26th 2011 at the venue.
Who has to participate: Anyone connected with vilathur through the
Father/mother/wife/husband/uncle /thatha/patti/mamanar/mamiyar
and/kulatheivam.
If you think you have come up in your life and make a successful living not only because of your intelligence, qualification, hardwork or parents help but on account of Motherland Vilathur and Kulatheivam
Those who are not connected so far and want to connect themselves with Vilathoorans are welcome
The youngsters who are in their 20s/30s who want to see the roots of their parents/grand parents and get motivated should attend physically not by simply contribution
What is great about Vilathur:Though there is no connectivity to the bus route or railway station, Provision shop and high school across the village till date;still many of us visit the village to thank the LAND and KULATHEIVAM atleast once in a year.
In 60s not only vilathur people migrated to cities,Nearby villagers and towns also came into the city for their education/employment and to make a better living. By the grace of BALASASTHA vilathur boys/girls have not suffered in anyway and Continue to prosper.These village boys/girls are in all walks of life- vedic scholars/ pandits, educationist,Military,Airforce,Navy,Bordersecurity,Police,Doctors,Engineers,Govtofficers,Entreprenuers,Industrialist,Banks,Telephones,Ministry and so on.
And today Vilathuroons are spread all around India
Blessings of our ancestors.
I am unable to make it for the function,but will contribute.
We want you to participate and show your Balasastha and the motherland your growth.,and continue to get their grace.
Today all of us want to contribute to their parents/ well wishers/ Acharyas and to GOD,saying that we have no time to see them.This attitude has to change,and todays younger generation has to understand

Why others are not participating despite their connection to vilathur
It is because,they have not realized the power of our land or ignorance.You having understood make your friends and relatives to participate.
In these three days,the organizers are trying to bring the village in full form and you can see your parents and grand parents performing in front of you,and make you realize the strength of your parents.
This will be a great motivation for the younger generation.Despite all the odds,your parents/grand parents have done it/doing it and you can do much more than your parents as you have a better platform and the grace of your VILATHUR and KULATHEIVAM.
How do I reach:The organizers are arranging transport from Chennai on the 23rd evening of Jan 2011 and return by 26th eve.
The food and shelters are being organized in a grand manner.There are village games –Pattam,Kathadi,Pambaram,Goli, Kitti pul,Jagadai,Float,RangoliSwimming,Kabadi,Pondi,Pallanguzhi,etc to entertain.
The organizers are trying to arrange the Thiruvaymoor melam, Thambattam,uduku,and other old timers-like
